Turkmen Headdress 303
Product Description
This is a vintage Turkmen headdress - Sinsile. The main band is made from connected plates, fire gilded, with red glass bezels, and with attached dangles.
The bottom dangles are interspersed with five triangular pendants decorated with wire and red glass.
It is mounted on cloth backing.
This headdress measures 15 inches across. From top of band to bottom fringe in center measures 6 inches. It has a total length of 9 inches.
Headdress is in an uncleaned and polished condition.
