Product Description
This is a vintage Turkmen headdress - Sinsile. The main band is made from connected plates, fire gilded, with red glass bezels, and with attached dangles.
The bottom dangles are interspersed with three triangular pendants decorated with wire and red glass. On each end there are three tiers of suspended triangles, with incised patterns and fire gilding.
It is mounted on cloth backing.
This headdress measures 16 inches across. From top of band to bottom fringe in center measures 9 inches. It has a total length of 15 inches.
